Eyes for the Trees
I looked into different styles of eyes, and if I should add eyelashes to my eyes or not. I created and looked into different styles of eyes, I felt that the majority of these eyes that were designed were again over complicated, which I felt was unnecessary. I wanted to simplify this. I felt like with eyelashes it took the focus away from the actual design, I wanted the main focus to be on the design of the tree itself. I decided not to use these eyes, or take inspiration from them because they had too much detail in and around the eyes which I felt was unnecessary for the design I was making.
I wanted my final design to be detailed and simple enough for my audience to understand.

Style of Tree
I decided not to use a tree that is twisted around like the ones shown, because again, I didn't want to over complicate my design, I felt a normal standing tree with the top branches slightly wavy would work effectively.
Final Design for Tree?
My original design was of this tree without the lines, but comparing it to the lines I felt like it needed that something extra. The lines I have included in the background represent the bark lines on a tree, and because I couldn't incorporate this in my design (because there wouldn't be enough room and it would take away the focus of the main design. I also thought this would've look messy.)
Eventually I came to the conclusion that if I used the lines in the background that it would not only make sense (because it represents tree bark) but it also adds that little bit extra, to make it look interesting.
