Book Arts

I decided to look at a previous project we did called 'book arts.' Within this project we were taught how to create small books with our illustrations on to make them look professional. I looked into the different types of book arts I could use for my final design.
I looked into pinterest and the web to see the different types of book I could use as well as looking at the work from my previous project.

Accordion Book

Looking at the different types of books I could use, I felt that using an accordion book would be the most effective, because my Blacksmith's work is very large and the art work he likes is very detailed. I can use this to my advantage by creating something that has the style he likes on as well as showing his audience the works he uses.

Promotion Packs?

I did think about doing a promotion pack for my blacksmith and creating something where it was easy to identify his work as well as promoting himself to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, with this project being so short and the lack of communication used from my blacksmith I thought it would be best to create him something small he could use. Rather than having to create something complicated that he may not like.

I chose to do an accordion book because I felt this particular book would be better to tell a story, and more interesting to look at visually.
